2024-25 National Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP)
This course explores content in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice
publication.* The course will show appraisers how to use the USPAP publication in the context
of current issues facing them today using classroom discussions and case studies. It also
addresses common appraisal practice issues and how to use USPAP in daily practice.
*Note: In this course, the expression “USPAP publication” is used to refer to USPAP
and the guidance that is in the bound publication with USPAP (i.e., the publication that
includes USPAP, the Advisory Opinions [AOs], and Frequently Asked Questions
[FAQs], and the index).

Statistical Tools for Mass Appraisal Analysis
Beginning with the theory of Statistics, through measures of central tendency, standard deviation, coefficient of dispersion, coefficient of variation, regression analysis. The tools of the trade: HP12C calculator, Excel Spreadsheet, and Software Programs will be explained in hands on terms. Also, modeling theory and modeling applications using the cost approach, sales comparison approach and income approach will be showcased in this informative program. Students are required to bring an HP12C calculator or the equivalent.
